Safety Iron 2" 15K End Connection
Clamp connecting flow line system providing a more robust connection than traditional hammer unions. Consists of a seal ring utilizing a soft seal and metal-to-metal seal, an upper clamp with captive bolts, and a lower threaded clamp. Greater vibration fatigue resistance, large sweeping radii for increased strength, and robust wall thickness. US Patent No. 7,204,525. Torque: 180 +/- 50 ft lbs.
