What we collect when you visit fluidcontrol.no, why, and how we handle it.
Who we are
This website is operated by Fluid Control Service AS, Ljosheimsvegen 1, 4050 Sola, Norway. Org. nr 997 744 276. We are the data controller for any personal data collected through this site. For any privacy-related question, write to post@fluidcontrol.no.
What data we collect
We collect as little as we can to run the site and respond to your enquiries.
- Information you send us — your name, company, email address, phone, and message when you fill in the contact form or reach out by email.
- Aggregate analytics — anonymised page-view statistics collected by Plausible Analytics (see below). No personal data, no cross-site tracking, no cookies.
- Server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps technical logs of requests (IP address, timestamp, browser type) for a limited period for security and debugging.
Cookies
We aim to keep cookies to a minimum. The site itself does not set marketing or tracking cookies. The following third-party services may set cookies when their content is loaded:

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking third-party cookies will not break the site, but embedded videos may not play.
How we use what you send us
If you contact us through the form or by email, we use that information only to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, and follow up on the work. We do not sell or rent your details to anyone.
Enquiries are stored in our company email and CRM for as long as the commercial relationship requires, plus the retention period set by Norwegian bookkeeping law where applicable.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of that data
- Object to or restrict the way we process it
- Request a copy in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet)

Whistleblowing
If you need to report a concern about something at Fluid Control Service, our whistleblowing channel is varsling@fluidcontrol.no. Reports are handled confidentially.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when we change a tool or service that affects what we collect. The current version is always the one on this page.
