Halliburton awards Hose Service Frame Agreement to Fluid Control Service AS

Fluid Control Service (FCS) has secured a 2 year frame agreement with options for a further 6 years from Halliburton to provide testing, repair, spooling and inspection Services for Halliburton owned Parker Polyflex/ Soluforce Hoses and Hose reel systems.

The relationship for support with hose deployment and spooling activities between FCS and Halliburton goes back 20 years, when FCS designed and fabricated the first Hose Reel for deployment of the newly introduced self-deployed downline system using Parker Black Eagle hose back in 2004. Today FCS stores and handles all Halliburton’s Black Eagle and Soluforce Hoses (approximately 3300m (3.3 kilometres).

FCS is an authorised service and repair centre for both Parker Polyflex and Soluforce products and offer hose management, technical support solutions, hose reel fabrication/ spooling and has a rental fleet of approx.1100 hoses registered, including Parker Black Eagle Hoses in lengths from 5 to 350m.

“We’re very pleased to continue supporting Halliburton with Hose maintenance services and this contract is an important milestone for FCS as we continue to demonstrate our capability as a partner of choice for subsea products and services” said Arve Håland chief operating officer of FCS.

FCS delivers Hose Transfer System for TP3 Well Clean-up operation

Over that last Days FCS dedicated team have together with our client Equinor and representatives from the DeepOcean installation vessel team been busy spooling the 1,8km SoluForce hose system that is to be used for the transfer of Well Cleanup fluids between the Troll A platform and the DP2 shuttle tanker Siri Knutsen during to upcoming TP3 Well Clean-up operation.
