Fluid Control joins Parker’s Authorized Facility Network
Fluid Control Service (FCS) Sola, Norway has received the new “Type Approval Certificate” for the Black Eagle hoses, where FCS is now listed as a Parker “approved hose assembly plant”.
DNV GL performed an audit of Fluid Control Service’s hose workshop in relation to Type Approval DNV GL certificate TAD00000CA (API 7K) certification of the Parker Polyflex range of hoses. The process has been completed and FCS is now one of only 7 approved hose workshops globally (other than Parker) for swaging, testing and recertification of Black Eagle Hoses.
The Type Approval is based on the Ref. Standard API 7K and is in compliance with DNVGL-OS-E101 Drilling facilities, edition January 2018. There are new/additional recommendations where handling, maintenance, inspection and repair of Parker Polyflex Black Eagle hoses and assemblies shall be carried out by an approved facility.
“Fluid Control has been a long-standing supplier Parker Polyflex products and we are delighted for the addition of Fluid Control to Parker network of authorised service facilities.” said Fluid Control’s CEO Tor-Atle Deisz. “Our entire team is looking forward to working in close collaboration with Parker and we will continue leveraging our excellent facilities in Stavanger to providing superior post sales service to our customers”
FCS features 6000 m² of workshop space and provides critical services such as Aftermarket and Repair services, Field and Rental services for well intervention, well integrity, pipeline/processing and drilling sectors.
This capability also strengthens our wider scope of high-quality maintenance and recertification services for hydraulic, bulk loading and drilling hoses with dedicated facilities for FCS’ customers.
